For recipients who are 12 or older receiving Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, a provider may use the manufacturer’s package insert (COMIRNATY Patient Package Insert or SPIKEVAX Patient Package Insert), written FAQs, or any other document (including provider-produced information materials) to inform patients about the benefits and risks of that vaccine.
